What you will do

• Assemble wind turbine components (nacelles, hubs, drive trains) using hand/power tools and overhead cranes.
• Perform precise torquing, alignment, and fit-up of gearboxes, bearings, and shafts.
• Follow engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure build accuracy.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain an organized workspace to prevent injuries.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to perform root cause analysis and optimize assembly processes.
• Assist electrical assembly operators and support other production areas as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or heavy manufacturing.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and technical documentation.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain crane operator certification.
• Must pass a respiratory fit test and be comfortable working at heights.
• English: Fluent (C1) required for safety and team communication.

Nice to have

• Mechanical certifications or technical training.
• Understanding of ISO 9000:2000 Quality System.
