Location: Ithaca, MI, US. Must be able to travel to the wind farm safely within 45 minutes in the event of an emergency

What you will do

• Repair and maintain wind turbine generators and related equipment at the wind farm.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist in Root Cause Analyses to determine equipment failures.
• Conduct safety analyses of energy sources and electrical/mechanical hazards before performing work.
• Complete Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), JSEA, and other required safety documentation.
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all corrective and preventive maintenance activities in Movilizer.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to climb vertical ladders and work at heights above 300 feet daily.
• Weight requirement of 265 lbs or less to safely use climbing equipment.
• Fluent English speaking and understanding for safety and technical collaboration.
• Full valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a U.S. Passport.
• Ability to move and manipulate up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Certification or degree in wind, technical, or engineering field.
• Ability to be certified to work with medium and high-voltage equipment.
• Experience working with hand and power tools.
