Salary: $103,644 - $124,490

What you will do

• Define and govern system architecture standards, ensuring alignment with VA Enterprise Architecture guidelines.
• Produce high-level and low-level design documentation for executive briefings and engineering implementation.
• Lead architectural design for multi-tenant platforms, including security boundary design and ATO inheritance frameworks.
• Coordinate architecture reviews for new capabilities, system enhancements, and major platform changes.
• Develop multi-region enablement plans, including failover strategies and cost modeling.
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks impacting performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident who has lived in the U.S. for at least 3 years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Federal Civilian Public Trust clearance.
• 5+ years of progressive enterprise architecture experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Expertise in designing enterprise cloud-native architectures using AWS, microservices, and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Experience supporting federal government programs and enterprise-scale applications.
