Salary: $165,000 – $200,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Design comprehensive technical solutions for complex business challenges and identify architectural improvements across multiple domains.
• Optimize solution architectures to improve performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of implementations.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to architect integrated AI/ML solutions on AWS.
• Lead application modernization initiatives, including the decomposition of monolithic systems into microservices.
• Design real-time data streaming architectures using Apache Kafka and search solutions via Elastic stack or OpenSearch.
• Provide technical advisory services and present architectures to senior government executives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in development, DevSecOps, AI/ML engineering, and technical architecture.
• 3+ years of experience designing and deploying enterprise cloud applications with AI/ML on AWS.
• US Citizenship required to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or an IT-related field.
• Hands-on experience architecting unified analytics platforms using Databricks.
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architecture patterns.
