TL;DR
Senior Cloud Software Architect (AWS/Generative AI): Designing and delivering cloud-native applications and AWS solutions for customers with an accent on scalable architectures, application development, and DevOps practices. Focus on translating requirements into engineering backlogs, leading architecture discussions, automating testing and CI/CD workflows, and troubleshooting production environments.
Location: Argentina; 100% remote

What you will do
- Design and deliver cloud-native applications and AWS solutions for customer projects.
- Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering backlogs and delegate work across engineering teams.
- Lead requirements gathering, backlog grooming, Agile ceremonies, and architecture discussions.
- Apply DevOps practices across build automation, branching, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, security, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Troubleshoot customer development, testing, and production environments and automate testing at multiple levels.
- Write production-quality code, document technical designs, and mentor less experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Current legal authorization to work in Argentina is required; visa or work permit sponsorship is not available.
- 5+ years of experience in software development and cloud-native systems.
- Strong knowledge of scalable architectures, web technologies, server-side scripting, relational and NoSQL databases, and API integrations.
- Experience with modern application architectures such as event-based systems, queues, and microservices.
- Development experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including configuring AWS resources.
- Strong customer communication, stakeholder collaboration, workstream leadership, and mentoring skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with testing automation, UI/UX, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code tools such as SAM, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Experience with large language models, generative AI, and development acceleration tools such as Amazon Q Developer, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor AI.
- BS degree in a computing-related field or equivalent experience.
