Integration Architect

TL;DR

Integration Architect: Leading the design, standardization, and governance of enterprise integration solutions to enable scalable system connectivity with an accent on PLM, ERP, and API ecosystems. Focus on architecting event-driven data flows, supporting Digital Thread initiatives, and ensuring security and compliance across complex manufacturing and aerospace environments.

Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Buffalo, NY area, or be willing to travel to the East Aurora site frequently.

Salary: $140,000–$175,000 Annually

What you will do

• Define and promote enterprise integration architecture, standards, and best practices.
• Develop reusable integration patterns including API-led, event-driven, and streaming architectures.
• Architect data flows across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality systems.
• Support Digital Thread and Model-Based Engineering initiatives.
• Participate in the Architecture Review Board to ensure standards adherence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align integration strategy with business outcomes.

Requirements

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Buffalo, NY area.
• Must have authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in integration architecture or senior technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft, Informatica, Kafka, or Talend.
• Expertise in API-led architecture, ERP integrations, and cloud/hybrid platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense industries.
• Certification or deep knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
