Salary: $113,585 - $150,164

What you will do

• Provide senior technical oversight for architecture, engineering, and maintenance activities.
• Manage AWS EKS clusters, AMI governance, and multi-region failover strategies.
• Enforce 100% IaC provisioning using Terraform with automated drift detection.
• Facilitate daily Change Control Board meetings and ensure production changes follow governance.
• Oversee certificate lifecycle management and secrets management using Vault.
• Maintain architecture documentation and ensure compliance with VA Enterprise Architecture standards.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with 3+ years of residency in the US.
• Must hold or be able to obtain an active Federal Civilian Public Trust clearance.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering and technical leadership.
• Expert knowledge of AWS managed services and Kubernetes platform engineering.
• Experience supporting Federal Government programs in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Systems Engineering.
