Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 USD

What you will do
- Conduct thorough, objective, and timely workplace investigations into complaints, misconduct, and policy violations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for interpersonal conflicts, grievances, and behavioral issues.
- Coach front-line managers on performance improvement plans (PIPs), disciplinary actions, and difficult conversations.
- Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA).
- Partner with the HRBP team to align employee relations activities with broader people strategies and organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate case files and track investigation trends to identify systemic issues and recommend proactive interventions.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of direct experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, or related HR disciplines.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Proven ability to advise managers on performance management and disciplinary documentation.
- Exceptional judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Experience in high-growth technology, SaaS, fintech, or insurance environments.
- Familiarity with multi-state employment compliance.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or AWI certification.
- Experience with case management systems or HR platforms.
