TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Houston, Texas. Role requires a hybrid schedule with at least four days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
• Plan and execute legal operations projects, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder coordination.
• Maintain internal document repositories and manage legal entity records.
• Facilitate the adoption of legal tools, including contract lifecycle management and AI-based solutions.
• Prepare and manage filings for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
• Review legal invoices for accuracy and support department billing needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of paralegal or document specialist experience.
• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with Diligent Entities, Diligent Board, and SEC filings is highly preferred.
• Ability to learn specialized legal software and contract lifecycle management systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Paralegal certification or formal training courses.
• Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and AI agents.
• Prior experience in agreement production and legal operations.
