Paralegal I

TL;DR

Paralegal I (Legal): Partner with attorneys to manage litigation, subpoenas, discovery, investigations, and regulatory monitoring with an accent on deadlines, legal holds, factual research, and contract management. Focus on coordinating data assembly, processing inquiries, and tracking external alerts for business impacts.

Location: Waltham, MA (#LI-Hybrid)

Salary: $35.09/hr - $37.50/hr

What you will do

• Partner with in-house attorneys on litigation, subpoenas, discovery, and legal holds.
• Conduct factual investigations, research, and data identification/assembly.
• Monitor regulatory updates via Westlaw, alerts, and external services.
• Process data security inquiries, NDAs, insurance certificates, and contract reviews.
• Manage files, deadlines, CRM requests, invoices in hirify.global systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent education/experience.
• Prior experience as corporate or law firm paralegal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint.
• Strong research, presentation, communication, interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently and as team member, openness to feedback.

Nice to have

• Current Notary Public or willingness to obtain.
• Basic contract review/analysis experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office, Office365, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro.
