What you will do

• Lead the translation of US and Canadian tax and regulatory requirements into SAP system changes.
• Provide in-depth functional and technical expertise for SAP HR/Payroll modules across multiple versions.
• Design and configure complex legislative requirements and create detailed user stories for Scrum teams.
• Formulate comprehensive test strategies and review test plans to ensure product compliance and quality.
• Facilitate problem-solving discussions with clients and internal teams to resolve complex payroll issues.
• Serve as a liaison between the Global Tax and Regulatory team and the Development/QA departments.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in US and Canada SAP HR/Payroll projects.
• Expert knowledge of US and Canadian Payroll business processes and end-to-end cycles.
• In-depth experience with US Tax Reporter, including state tax file specifications and configuration.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop functional specification documentation from regulatory data.
• Must be based in the US or Canada with a stable internet connection.
• Strong professional communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with AGILE methodology and JIRA.
• Ability to read, write, or speak French.
• Knowledge of ABAP and debugging.
