What you will do

• Provide engineering, operations, and optimization support for Cisco enterprise networks across core, distribution, access, and edge layers.
• Lead the remediation of incident-response (IR) findings and enforce Zero Trust principles across the network.
• Resolve the most complex network faults escalated from the service desk and serve as a senior technical adviser.
• Manage perimeter security, including firewall rule management, ingress/egress filtering, and MFA for administrative access.
• Collaborate with cloud, Microsoft, and cybersecurity teams to support audits and assessments.
• Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and configuration baselines through rigorous change management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive senior-level enterprise network engineering experience in Cisco environments.
• Public Trust Tier 2 clearance is required.
• Expertise in routing, switching, VLANs, enterprise DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Deep knowledge of Zero Trust (segmentation, micro-segmentation, 802.1X) and compliance with NIST SP 800-53 and SP 800-207.
• Proven experience in incident response, forensics, and root-cause analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNP Enterprise certification (CCIE strongly preferred).
• Security+ or other Cisco-specific security credentials.
