What you will do

• Lead the planning, design, testing, and implementation of data and voice communications infrastructure.
• Provide 24x7 on-call technical support for Network Services to ensure system integrity.
• Collaborate with business units to develop network design solutions that meet specific business requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure continued reliability and security of telecommunications and data networks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and associated staff.
• Conduct research and development to ensure the company utilizes up-to-date technologies and meets corporate standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in network and security administration.
• Significant experience designing and supporting LAN and WAN environments.
• Advanced proficiency with routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), site-to-site VPNs, ACLs, and Layer 2 technologies.
• Experience with F5 content delivery technologies and debugging complex production system issues.
• Availability to work a hybrid schedule within commuting distance of Folsom, CA.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP.
• Master's Degree.
