What you will do

• Design and implement network infrastructure using correct network diagrams and documentation.
• Configure and optimize network security and connectivity (firewalls, routing, switching) to maximize security and efficiency.
• Monitor network performance, run regular performance tests, and implement necessary adjustments and improvements.
• Provide technical leadership for deployment and support, including resolving escalated issues from lower support tiers.
• Collaborate with architects to design and implement enterprise company networks and establish cross-functional working connections.
• Mentor junior network engineering staff and delegate maintenance tasks; produce network status reports.

Requirements

• 8+ years of high-availability, high-security, internet data center experience.
• Extensive experience supporting enterprise networks across multiple commercial co-located data centers.
• Lawful work authorization in the US with unrestricted work authorization for US.
• Experience with network administration and architecture, including documentation skills.
• Design and deployment experience with technologies such as F5, Palo Alto, Cisco, OpenGear, Windows Server, VMware, SD-WAN, and network virtualization.
• Experience with automation and deployment frameworks to deploy network services.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of public cloud experience.
• Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL.
• Project coordination/management experience.
• Experience with Cisco ACI and Cisco OS/firewalls/switches/routers.
