What you will do

• Manage the full life cycle of network switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Support and maintain VPN technologies and Next Generation Firewalls.
• Serve as the final escalation point and subject matter expert for network device issues.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement secure network solutions.
• Design and refine information security frameworks to ensure asset protection.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in one of the specified US states.
• Significant experience in network administration and security activities.
• Proven experience managing Next Generation Firewalls and IDS/IPS systems.
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) network and security challenges.
• Experience with security frameworks such as ISO and NIST.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Associate (PCNSA) or Engineer (PCNSE).
• Cisco professional certifications.
• Experience in a regulated sector, particularly gas or utilities.
