Maintenance Reliability Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Manage the plant Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
• Track and report on maintenance KPIs, utilization, downtime, and failure analysis.
• Utilize Maximo CMMS to monitor activities and identify improvement opportunities.
• Drive equipment reliability improvements using Root Cause Analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan and schedule improvement initiatives.
• Manage spare parts inventory and support the maintenance monthly budget.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (GM does not provide immigration support for this role).
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with Continuous Improvement activities.
• High level of oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and anticipate equipment failures.
• Proficiency in task management and team accountability.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Maximo, SAP, and COGNOs Analytics.
• In-depth knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, infrared, ultrasonic, oil analysis).
