TL;DR

Strategic Account Executive (Legal Tech): Driving new business acquisition within the AmLaw 200 sector by positioning advanced SaaS ediscovery solutions with an accent on complex sales cycles and consultative relationship building. Focus on identifying enterprise needs, conducting tailored demonstrations, and managing high-value opportunities to achieve aggressive revenue targets.

Location: Must be based in the United States. Preference for Oakland, CA or New York City office (Hybrid: M/W/Th in office). Remote support available for candidates in cities with significant AmLaw presence.

Salary: $175,000 base, $350,000 OTE.

What you will do

  • Lead sophisticated sales cycles from qualification through to closing with senior-level legal professionals.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the AmLaw 200 domain.
  • Conduct highly tailored product demonstrations and presentations to subject matter experts.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Reps and Sales Directors to build and manage a healthy pipeline.
  • Develop deep insights into target objectives and present strategic progress to leadership.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement to enhance team growth and quota attainment.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Minimum 7 years of successful quota-carrying experience in SaaS sales.
  • Proven track record of selling into net new accounts with overachievement of quota ($1.3M+ ARR).
  • Experience managing complex business sales processes and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to travel throughout the United States to meet with clients and team members.
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to build and manage a self-sourced pipeline.

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of experience selling for a Managed Service Provider in the legal tech space.
  • 3+ years of experience selling in the ediscovery space.
