TL;DR

HR Generalist (Manufacturing): Managing end-to-end HR operations for the South Region with an accent on employee relations, recruitment, and business partnership. Focus on optimizing workforce planning, enhancing DEI initiatives, and ensuring HRIS accuracy across multiple facilities.

Location: Must be based in Huntsville, AL; travel to Tulsa, OK (approx. 1 week/month) required. Openness to future relocation within the South Region is required.

Salary: $73,807 - $101,445

What you will do

  • Partner with and coach managers to resolve people and employee relations issues.
  • Utilize data-driven HR insights to provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead recruitment efforts and workforce planning in collaboration with facility managers.
  • Manage onboarding, orientations, and exit interviews, analyzing trends to improve retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits.
  • Develop and communicate company policies while fostering positive employee relations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably within a manufacturing environment supporting both hourly and salaried staff.
  • Must reside in the Huntsville, AL area.
  • Willingness to travel to Tulsa, OK approximately one week per month.
  • Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; experience with Workday or UKG Kronos is a plus.

Nice to have

  • PHR or SPHR certification.
  • HRIS implementation experience.
