What you will do

• Manage end-to-end payroll for hourly, salaried, and union employees across multiple locations and jurisdictions.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll execution in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Serve as the primary system administrator and subject matter expert for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
• Oversee payroll integrations and data accuracy between UKG Time & Attendance (Kronos), HRIS, and financial systems.
• Lead payroll audits, tax filings, and year-end activities including W-2 processing.
• Mentor and develop payroll staff while establishing payroll policies and internal controls.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Livermore, CA.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive payroll experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll and UKG Time & Attendance (Kronos).
• Extensive experience managing multi-state payroll operations and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.

Nice to have

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.
• Experience with Wisely paycard and ADP SmartCompliance.
