What you will do

• Independently manage air monitoring for asbestos, lead, and mold remediation.
• Conduct complex indoor air quality investigations and site inspections.
• Draft high-quality technical reports and documentation with minimal oversight.
• Perform health and safety inspections to identify and document potential hazards.
• Coordinate daily activities and site access with contractors and sub-contractors.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on field procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of direct experience in asbestos, lead, and mold monitoring.
• Must possess at least 3 relevant certifications (e.g., NYSDOL Mold Assessor, EPA AHERA, NYCDEP Asbestos Investigator).
• Strong technical writing skills for professional reporting.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and be medically cleared for respirator use.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Must be available for occasional night, weekend, or extended shifts as required by project needs.

Nice to have

• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Additional asbestos accreditations such as EPA/NYSDOL Project Designer.
• Experience in construction management or health and safety oversight.
