What you will do

• Develop and manage project-specific EHS Plans aligned with Global Construction Safety Policy and OSHA regulations.
• Oversee prevention strategies and controls for high-risk activities such as electrical work and confined space operations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and integrate risk assessments (HRAs) into project schedules.
• Investigate all incidents and near-misses to ensure thorough root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Lead weekly safety meetings and coordinate with contractors and owners to verify policy compliance.
• Deliver safety orientations and maintain comprehensive training records for a diverse workforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, or engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in construction or safety management.
• Proven experience working within data centers or mission critical facilities.
• 3+ years of senior-level safety or design management experience.
• Location: Must be based onsite in La Porte, IN.

Nice to have

• Foundational understanding of emergency action and crisis management plans.
• Familiarity with access control, fire prevention, ergonomics, and PPE standards.
• Experience with permit systems for hot work, critical lifts, and energy isolation.
• In-depth knowledge of EPA standards in addition to OSHA.
