Electronic Warfare Hardware Engineer (RF)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end PCB design in Altium Designer using HDI techniques, complex layer stacks, and high-frequency routing.
• Design, simulate, and implement custom RF components and matching networks for contested environments.
• Simulate antenna design and placement with CST Studio Suite and Altair FEKO to optimize RF performance.
• Own the mechanical packaging and electro-mechanical design of boards while coordinating hardware-software integration.
• Define and execute testing, debugging, and validation protocols for system stability and survivability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in electronic, RF, or hardware systems development.
• Extensive hands-on Altium experience, including HDI, complex layer stacks, and high-speed/high-frequency signal integrity.
• Experience designing matching networks and simulating RF components with CST Studio Suite and/or Altair FEKO.
• Strong understanding of RF and electronic components within broader system architecture.
• Ability to debug multidisciplinary issues across hardware, RF, and software in a fast-paced small-team environment.
• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field, plus experience in defense, aerospace, telecommunications, or another high-performance hardware industry.
