What you will do

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering a culture of high trust, accountability, and career development.
• Lead engineering execution for growth initiatives including acquisition, onboarding, activation, and monetization.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Analytics to define strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and evaluate technical tradeoffs.
• Build a strong experimentation culture by driving A/B testing and data-informed decision-making.
• Guide architecture and technical direction for growth-critical systems like paywalls, purchase flows, and lifecycle moments.
• Hire exceptional talent and advocate for engineering craft, operational excellence, and code quality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership in complex technical and organizational environments.
• 4+ years of engineering management experience building high-performing teams.
• Experience developing iOS apps with Swift or managing teams that do so.
• Proven track record of shipping large-scale product initiatives with cross-functional dependencies.
• Must be based in the U.S. with ability to work remotely.
• Strong communication skills and ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience leading Growth, monetization, or experimentation teams in consumer products.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Amplitude.
• Experience with subscription products and entitlement systems.
