What you will do

• Empower and mentor engineers via 1:1s, career mapping, and performance coaching to foster high-trust culture.
• Optimize technical development processes, standards, and workflows to boost team output and reduce toil.
• Champion TDD, AI-augmented development, documentation-as-code, and rigorous feedback in code reviews.
• Drive initiatives like tech debt reduction, architectural refactors, and API standardization.
• Provide low-level technical oversight through architecture reviews and hands-on coaching.

Requirements

• 3+ years managing engineering teams with focus on psychological safety and growth.
• Deep software development background for credible architecture and implementation feedback.
• Experience implementing standards and workflows that increase velocity without bureaucracy.
• Collaboration with stakeholders to prioritize technical solutions.
• Ability to balance business features with engineering health.
