What you will do

• Perform basic drill press, lathe, milling machine, and grinding operations.
• Manage the care and application of turning, plunge, and form tools.
• Operate shear vises and tapping machines, utilizing various styles of metric and standard taps and dies.
• Utilize power hand tools, grinders, drills, sanders, and bead blasters.
• Operate power band saws and cut-off saws, selecting appropriate speeds, feeds, and blade settings.
• Complete and maintain required production paperwork.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
• Completion of at least one year of an approved vocational program in Machine Technology or equivalent.
• Proficiency in general mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Knowledge of machine shop gauges and machinery.
• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information.
