What you will do

• Inspect parts for defects and material handling damage.
• Scrape or rub parts using files, wire brushes, or buffing cloths.
• Mount tools on spindles for abrasive finishing and deburring.
• Change tooling such as rubberized abrasives and grinder wheels.
• Operate grit blast cabinets, hand-held die-grinders, and Dremel tools for polishing.
• Use compressed air to clean interiors and exteriors of parts post-polishing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear; lift up to 25 pounds.
• Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Pass respirator medical evaluation and fit test annually; wear respirator 8 hours/day.
• Consistently at work and on time.
