CNC Machinist 2 (CNC)

Location: Lawrence, Massachusetts, United States; on-site manufacturing role

Salary: $22.50–$37.50 per hour, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus

What you will do

• Operate CNC lathe equipment to produce parts that meet dimensional specifications.
• Change inserts and tool holders, skim jaws, monitor tool wear, and make dimensional adjustments.
• Inspect parts visually and with microscopes to verify conformity and attention to detail.
• Deburr and clean machined parts and complete quality control documentation.
• Communicate machining problems to the supervisor and perform additional tasks that support an efficient, clean, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school or trade school diploma.
• 3+ years of CNC machine operator experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to work efficiently toward targeted goals with limited supervision.
• Some positions may require eligibility as a U.S. person for controlled goods and technologies under ITAR or EAR regulations.
