What you will do

• Develop and release comprehensive DV/PV plans, reports, and recommendations based on program targets and system requirements.
• Lead the planning and execution of validation tests for vehicle systems, collaborating with design engineers to identify root causes of failures.
• Design and configure test methods, scripts, and simulations to validate system capabilities prior to vehicle integration.
• Deploy instrumentation and data acquisition strategies and analysis methodologies for effective testing activities.
• Coordinate requirements and validation activities with component suppliers and external testing facilities.
• Establish and manage engineering standards for requirements traceability between DFMEA, DVP&R, and final reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within the engineering industry.
• Experience in automotive or heavy-duty vehicle testing and validation.
• High operational knowledge of FMVSS, ADA, APTA Bus Procurement Guidelines, SAE HD vehicle standards, and NFPA.
• Experience with hands-on troubleshooting, product assembly, and prototyping.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site at the Livermore, CA plant.
