What you will do

• Support cross-functional engineering efforts using a system-level understanding of AV products and technologies.
• Define and maintain technical system and subsystem requirements by analyzing stakeholder, product, and safety needs.
• Collaborate with test and validation teams to establish verification criteria for system requirements.
• Perform FMEA analysis and track findings to resolution.
• Evaluate industry and regulatory requirements for applicability to company products.
• Identify process gaps and propose effective solutions for resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• 3+ years experience in automotive engineering working on software, hardware, or combined products.
• Strong working knowledge of ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle systems.
• Detailed knowledge of requirements management and requirement-based design.
• Ability to display systems thinking and high attention to detail.
• Must be based in or able to work from Ann Arbor, MI.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of automotive technologies such as LIDAR, radar, ethernet, and CAN.
• Experience in Machine Learning, Robotics, IoT, or Mobile Applications.
• Previous experience working in a startup environment.
