Data Governance Lead (Master Data Domain)

Location: Morrisville, North Carolina, United States; hybrid working environment with in-office and/or in-person expectations

Salary: USD 170,000–253,000 annual on-target earnings, including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Implement and continuously improve product master data governance processes supporting operations, analytics, and AI readiness.
• Maintain governance controls, stewardship roles, approval workflows, and change-management processes in cloud ERP environments.
• Apply enterprise policies, standards, business rules, and product data quality practices.
• Advise on product and item setup, attribute standards, hierarchy design, reference data, and change control.
• Partner with product, supply chain, finance, IT, and business stakeholders to align data policies with business and platform needs.
• Define data-quality rules, monitor governed product data, resolve root causes, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong experience with product or material master data, including BOM structures, item catalogs, attributes, and business rules.
• Hands-on experience governing product master data in Oracle Cloud ERP or a comparable cloud ERP platform, including standards and workflow design.
• Ability to establish stewardship models, controls, approvals, and accountability frameworks.
• Understanding of product data challenges in the technology infrastructure or similar high-tech industries.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in product master data management, governance, or a related field, plus a relevant bachelor’s degree.

• Advanced degree.
• Certifications in data governance, MDM, cloud platforms, or enterprise applications.
• Working knowledge of cloud data platforms and integrations supporting governed product data.
