Director of Data Governance and Operations (ERP)

Location: Hybrid role based at an assigned hirify.global site in the United States; primary location is Folsom, California, with additional locations in Phoenix, Arizona, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Annual salary: $172,410–$338,110 USD, depending on work location, skills, experience, and education or training.

What you will do

• Lead business transformation initiatives by treating data as a strategic asset.
• Define and execute data governance strategies focused on data quality and governance.
• Drive innovation in data operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Translate business requirements into IT solutions and coordinate between business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Apply master data management expertise to ERP systems and supply chain processes.
• Lead the data governance team, manage its budget, develop team capabilities, and report progress to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in a leadership role across data operations and data management.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data quality tools, and data management methodologies.
• Experience with data warehouses, ETL tools, and data modeling tools.
• Ability to define and execute operational processes.
• Advanced understanding of data security and privacy best practices.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in data transformation.
• Experience with ERP and supply chain master data.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
