What you will do

• Own the higher education industry strategy for Spectacles, defining priority use cases and market offerings to drive scaled growth.
• Lead engagements with higher education clients to position AR glasses as solutions for teaching, research, and campus operations.
• Build and grow a partner ecosystem of services providers, solution providers, and systems integrators.
• Develop customer pipelines and manage complex sales cycles from early discovery through deployment planning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to align strategy with platform capabilities.
• Create thought leadership content and manage the company's presence at higher education industry events.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading strategy, business development, sales, or GTM within higher education.
• Experience applying industrial technology, enterprise software, spatial computing, or XR/AR in academic settings.
• Deep understanding of the higher education landscape, including academic leadership and IT needs.
• Proven ability to guide complex, consultative sales cycles with senior customer stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in or able to work from Palo Alto, CA (office 4+ days per week).

Nice to have

• Experience in augmented reality, mixed reality, or wearable computing.
• Previous experience at companies like HoloLens, Magic Leap, or similar AR ecosystem players.
• Track record of building GTM motions for emerging hardware and software categories.
• Experience with immersive learning and remote assistance solutions.
