Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY). Must be present in office at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $385,000 - $460,000 USD

What you will do

• Define behavioral defaults and steerability constraints for AI models.
• Develop and maintain taxonomies of model behaviors across various capabilities.
• Triage and prioritize behavioral issues by coordinating between Users, Research, and Safeguards teams.
• Translate alignment research breakthroughs into tangible product and model improvements.
• Contribute to evaluations that measure alignment progress.
• Scale tools and initiatives to accelerate alignment shipping.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management leading scaled conversational AI products.
• Strong grasp of ML concepts and ability to go deep into technical solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering consumer or B2B end-user features.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and synthesize contradictory feedback into actionable priorities.
