What you will do

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for training software on Trainium.
• Drive technical alignment across training libraries, distributed infrastructure, and compiler/runtime teams.
• Lead strategy for post-training workflows including RLHF, DPO, and fine-tuning at scale.
• Engage with customers to translate distributed training challenges into product requirements.
• Coordinate end-to-end launches for training capabilities, including documentation and field enablement.
• Define success metrics for training adoption and performance optimization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Solid understanding of large-scale model training and distributed training architectures.
• Familiarity with major AI/ML training frameworks like PyTorch or JAX.
• Proven track record of driving product strategy and cross-organizational alignment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level interaction.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed training of large-scale models using model parallelism techniques.
• Experience with RL research-to-production workflows.
• Background in open-source developer products and ecosystem integration.
• Experience operating in early-stage, ambiguous environments.
