What you will do

• Lead fire alarm and mass notification system design from concept through construction.
• Develop detailed, code-compliant drawings, specifications, and technical reports using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Act as the owner’s representative during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Conduct site assessments and field surveys to evaluate existing conditions.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire alarm system design, consulting, or inspection.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes and life safety standards.
• Ability to interface effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona (relocation assistance provided).

Nice to have

• NICET Level II or higher certification.
• Experience with ASPIRE software.
• Background in mass notification systems and integrated life safety solutions.
