What you will do

• Install and set up panels, sensors, and wiring according to electrical layout blueprints and building plans.
• Conduct routine NFPA 72 tests and provide detailed documentation of system deficiencies.
• Diagnose system faults, replace faulty components, and restore alarms to optimal functionality.
• Program electronic control panels from major manufacturers including Notifier, Honeywell, and Simplex.
• Manage emergency service calls and explain system operations to clients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
• Deep understanding of low-voltage AC/DC circuitry, electrical schematics, and NFPA codes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in high or confined spaces.
• Fluent English proficiency (read, write, speak, and understand).
• Must be able to pass a government background check.

Nice to have

• NICET Fire Alarm Systems certification (Level I through IV).
• Specific manufacturer panel certifications.
