What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for plant operations, equipment, and processes as the senior engineering authority on-site.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and power disruptions.
• Oversee maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment lifecycle management to maximize asset availability.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between the company, site personnel, and customers.
• Analyze plant operating data and reliability trends to identify efficiency and safety improvements.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work at sites in San Antonio, TX
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in power generation, industrial operations, or plant engineering.
• Deep understanding of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, controls, and instrumentation.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement corrective action plans.
• Ability to support rotational scheduling and travel to other facilities as required.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (PE) credentials.
• Industry-specific certifications.
• Experience leading site operations or commissioning and deployment programs.
• Prior customer-facing experience in an industrial or energy environment.
