What you will do

• Lead electrical engineering design for water/wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and industrial facilities.
• Develop conceptual designs and lead the implementation of power distribution, medium/low-voltage systems, and standby power.
• Direct instrumentation and control system design, including PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, and budgets while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, utilities, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and designers, reviewing deliverables for quality and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience in municipal water/wastewater or industrial process facilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or commitment to obtain it within two years.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ISA, and NEMA standards.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Nice to have

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in the relevant sector.
• Experience as a primary client contact managing projects from concept to construction.
• Specific experience as a Project Lead in the Food and Dairy industries.
• Proven ability to balance multiple concurrent I&C design projects in a fast-paced consulting environment.
