What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across mobile applications, web services, and data management systems.
• Recruit, manage, coach, and motivate a team of software engineers.
• Collaborate with product owners and UX engineers to define features and roadmaps.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders including QA, regulatory, and project management to execute project plans.
• Drive high standards for software reliability, maintainability, and compliance in a regulated environment.
• Support production through incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading or managing software engineering teams.
• 5+ years of experience developing for iOS and Android using Kotlin.
• 5+ years of experience developing Java web services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Spring, Hibernate, and MySQL.
• Experience working in a regulated medical device environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
