TL;DR
Manager, Instructional Designer (L&D): Designing and managing end-to-end learning experiences and instructional standards to improve organizational performance with an accent on translating complex operational processes and policies into scalable learning solutions. Focus on defining governance frameworks, optimizing LMS content, and aligning training initiatives with business outcomes.
Location: Must be based in the United States
What you will do
- Own the full instructional design lifecycle, from needs analysis and solution design to deployment and optimization.
- Define and maintain instructional design standards, governance frameworks, and accessibility guidelines.
- Translate complex business processes and systems into role-based learning for digital, blended, and instructor-led formats.
- Consult with stakeholders to identify performance gaps and recommend training approaches aligned with business goals.
- Manage LMS publishing, content organization, and quality assurance for all learning assets.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness using data and performance metrics to continuously improve experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, L&D, Education, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design or training content development.
- Deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Proven ability to create e-learning, blended learning, and video-based content.
- Experience with LMS platforms, SCORM packages, and content publishing workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
Nice to have
- Experience in operational environments such as hospitality, real estate, or student housing.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with Articulate 360, Vyond, Iorad, or Canva.
