What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and switching across all sites.
• Execute physical network deployments, including site surveys, rack planning, cabling, and hardware installation.
• Ensure network security, segmentation, and access control for both corporate and operational technology environments.
• Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with the Tech Infrastructure team to develop standardized, automated network management approaches.
• Document network architecture and maintain rigorous configuration standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in Germany and open to occasional travel to sites for deployments and support.
• Strong background in enterprise network infrastructure and hands-on experience with network hardware.
• Proficiency with firewalls, VPN solutions, enterprise Wi-Fi, and managed switches.
• Solid understanding of network security principles, including segmentation and access control.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and performance troubleshooting.
• Comfortable with automation and scripting to reduce manual configuration tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palo Alto, Meraki, or Unifi hardware.
