What you will do

• Develop and maintain PFMEA, DFMEA, and control plans to proactively mitigate risk.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve First Pass Yield (FPY).
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured methodologies such as 8D and 5-Why.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and New Product Introduction (NPI) validation activities.
• Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
• Manage shop floor Non-Conformance Report (NCR) processes and monitor work-cell performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality or process engineering.
• Experience with PFMEA/DFMEA and control plans.
• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis tools (8D, 5-Why).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Fairport, NY.
