What you will do

• Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using Hexagon/PC-DMIS.
• Apply expert GD&T knowledge to ensure parts meet exacting customer requirements.
• Lead quality initiatives, troubleshoot measurement issues, and mentor junior staff in high-precision environments.
• Provide technical QA expertise to manufacturing and analyze the cost of poor quality.
• Lead process development during New Product Introduction (NPI) and perform statistical validation of process capability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing Engineering and suppliers to ensure inspection readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Metrology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in GD&T, CMM operation, and PC-DMIS programming.
• Familiarity with Quality System Standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability in applying statistics to industrial practices.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or granted refugee/asylee status (ITAR compliance).
• English: Fluent proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking required.

Nice to have

• Experience in CNC machining, Sheet Metal, Injection Molding, and/or 3D printing environments.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working directly with customers and suppliers.
