What you will do

• Establish and lead a newly created Transactional Finance function, including hiring and developing a full team of specialists.
• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable and receivable operations, vendor management, and multi-currency cash reconciliations.
• Drive the digital transformation roadmap by implementing AP automation, e-invoicing, and agentic AI capabilities.
• Design and operate a SOX-grade control environment and serve as the accountable owner for risk management.
• Partner with the CFO and commercial teams to transition responsibilities from a North American shared service model.
• Manage vendor master file governance, including KYC/AML and tax due diligence.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading transactional finance or shared-service operations in a publicly traded company.
• Track record of delivering digital AP transformation with quantified ROI.
• Hands-on experience designing and remediating process-level SOX controls.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• Sector experience in online gaming, fintech, payments, or high-volume consumer businesses.
• Experience building or carving out finance teams from scratch, including operating model design.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating finance functions post-M&A.
• Hands-on exposure to LLM-based or agentic workflow tooling in a finance context.
