Location: Hybrid; must work out of the head office in Lenton, Nottingham twice a week

What you will do

• Complete group consolidation and prepare management accounts.
• Ensure accuracy of annual statutory reporting and interim reporting to the stock exchange.
• Manage the filing of accounts for all statutory entities.
• Provide guidance and clarity on technical accounting issues during group-wide submissions.
• Create concise financial reports for senior management and non-financial stakeholders.
• Review and interrogate financial information reported to the group board and shareholders.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant.
• In-depth understanding of technical accountancy.
• Previous experience working within practice or a FTSE organisation.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
