What you will do

• Lead and manage all international financial accounting activities, driving the global accounting team toward high accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee the international month-end close process, including the review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Manage the audit process for all international subsidiaries to ensure compliance with local regulations and statutory requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with international VAT/GST and local tax reporting across all relevant jurisdictions.
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives, including the adoption of AI tools.
• Act as a strategic bridge between the U.S. Headquarters and international subsidiaries to ensure global policy alignment.

Requirements

• CPA (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
• Proven experience in a Big 4 audit firm and industry experience.
• Prior experience working within an international company with a US Headquarters.
• Expert knowledge of international VAT, UK GAAP, and NL GAAP.
• Extensive knowledge of ERP software (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
