What you will do
- Run daily FinOps operations, including cost data integration, dashboard management, and anomaly investigation.
- Develop AI-leveraged analytics for cost visibility, ROI, and unit economy research.
- Drive cost allocation and attribution down to the domain and feature level.
- Implement chargeback and financial reporting processes for engineering teams.
- Productize resource utilization and rightsizing recommendations.
- Build cost-control guardrails for high-volatility spend categories, particularly AI services.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (GCP preferred).
- Strong SQL skills for writing analytical queries on large datasets.
- Experience with modern BI or data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Proficiency in Python for automation, data analysis, and integration.
- AI build literacy with experience wiring LLMs into analytical pipelines.
- Strong investigative instincts for cost-anomaly detection and hypothesis formation.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes resource management.
- Knowledge of Terraform or IaC for cost-related configuration enforcement.
- FinOps Foundation Certified Practitioner (FOCP) certification.
- Prior experience managing large-scale cloud environments.
