Senior GCP Cloud Engineer: Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure solutions within Google Cloud Platform with an accent on infrastructure automation, cloud security, and CI/CD pipeline development. Location: Must be based in Washington, DC (In-Person, 5 days/week). U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-level security clearance.

What you will do

• Design and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or similar tools.
• Support and integrate CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployment workflows.
• Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with federal standards like FedRAMP and NIST.
• Provide documentation and knowledge sharing for the engineering team.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, including 2+ years on GCP.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, IAM, VPC).
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice to have

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
• Experience with federal government contracts and ATO processes.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure.
