TL;DR

Director, Deal Desk (SaaS): Leading the global commercial policy and quoting-to-cash (QTC) function with an accent on cross-functional governance between Finance, Legal, and Revenue teams. Focus on scaling complex deal structures, optimizing CPQ processes, and providing executive-level commercial insights to support high-growth enterprise sales.

Location: Must be based in Austin, Texas (On-site with anchor days: Mon, Tue, Thu). Relocation support is available for the right candidate.

What you will do

  • Design and enforce end-to-end quoting-to-cash (QTC) processes, including discount policies and approval workflows.
  • Partner with Finance and Revenue leadership to operationalize booking and ARR treatment rules.
  • Lead and develop a distributed global team of Deal Desk managers and analysts.
  • Manage operational readiness for new pricing, packaging, and promotional offers.
  • Analyze discounting patterns, multi-year deal economics, and channel-partner deal complexity.
  • Present deal risk, bookings trends, and policy recommendations directly to the Executive Leadership Team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, or Sales Operations within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing a team.
  • Deep mastery of QTC processes and CPQ tooling (Salesforce CPQ or equivalent).
  • Strong commercial acumen regarding ARR, bookings, and financial reporting.
  • Must be based in Austin, Texas or willing to relocate.
  • Must have US work authorization (visa sponsorship is not supported).

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with CaptivateIQ.
  • Experience working with FP&A and Accounting on booking recognition.
  • Exposure to open-source or developer tooling sales models.
  • Experience formalizing operational readiness processes for new product launches.
