What you will do

• Manage a caseload of Small Claims Track cases, ensuring all court deadlines are met.
• Analyze evidence to develop initial case strategies for liability and quantum.
• Conduct telephone negotiations with clients, defendants, and solicitors to achieve appropriate settlements.
• Draft court documents and witness statements.
• Liaise with Counsel and guide defendants through the litigation process.
• Maintain accurate case management, billing, and management information systems.

Requirements

• Established experience in law through further education or professional practice.
• File handling experience within a law practice or insurance company.
• Good understanding of the Highway Code and basic Road Traffic Act principles.
• Basic knowledge of Court Practice Rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from Bolton, UK.
